BAPHOMET, the tarot of the underworld, is a succession of paintings by the Swiss artist, designer and Oscar-winner, H. R. Giger. BAPHOMET introduces us to the oldest destiny of mankind, visions of birth and death, love and hate in the dreams of life.

Giger`s art is interpreted by philosopher-magician Akron. To him, tarot is like an inexhaustible mine of symbols, suited to manifest Giger`s aesthetics of apocalypse in literary style. Akron resorts to the tradition of the Tarot in order to convey the messages of Baphomet – a medieval secret symbol – which is of special significance in Gigers`s work.

The group Epilepsy reflects this spirit, which leads us down into unknown substrata of our own inner selves in a congenially abyssal manner. The sound serves the listener as an acoustic catalyst to gain access to his own inner self, to the both alien and fascinating spiritual world of Akron and Giger, with penetrating visions, with a soupçon of exclusivity.
